McGinnis Wedding – 50 Years and Counting – Rockwall Wedding Chapel

On Sunday, I was asked to photograph a wedding.  It wasn’t just any wedding.  It was a vow renewal.  And it wasn’t just any vow renewal.  It was Mr & Mrs McGinnis’ 50th Wedding Anniversary Vow Renewal.  They were married at 2pm on December 20th, 1959.  They renewed their vows exactly 50 years later!  The ceremony was held at the Rockwall Wedding Chapel.  From a photography point of view, this is a great place for a wedding if you like things simple, and with a LOT of natural light.  It was a beautiful thing to see two people still in love after all the time has passed.  They shared the day with their children, their grandchildren, and even their great grandchildren.  We were there to photograph their very simple, very sweet ceremony and a short reception that followed.  Here are a few of our favorite photos from their day.

WOW – Winter Wonderland

We had a great time at Nicole Blackmon’s Spoiled Rotten Children’s Boutique on Saturday. We converted her home into a Winter Wonderland and took lots of great photos of the kids. If you didn’t make it this year, be sure to get on our mailing list so we can notify you of these great discount events. They are perfect for kids updates and holiday gifts. We never advise letting one of these replace a regular session with us, but they are fun and we love doing them. Here are a few of our favorites from the 15-minute sessions.

Thanks Santa!

We’d like to thank Santa Claus for making the looooong trip from the North Pole and helping us make great photos this weekend.  Thanks to everyone who came to see him.  We were thrilled with the turnout.  If you weren’t able to come, we hope to see you next time at one of our themed mini-session events.  I even managed to have my picture taken with Santa.  That’s me (Chris) and my son Connor with Santa.  And just so you know, THIS is MY real Santa Claus!  He still delivers presents to me every year .

Santa in the Studio: Next Dates Dec 4, 5

Maserati Gran Turismo Convertible Unveiling Event

Congratulations Freshman Football District Champs!
